Harte Auto Group Provides Wheelchair Accessible Van for Boy with Muscular Dystrophy

Back in February, we posted a blog talking about the 2013 Mohegan Sun Sothern New England MDA Muscle Walk. That event was cancelled due to a snow storm, but is now happening this Sunday, April 28 instead! Harte Auto Group is helping to sponsor the event.
The 2013 MDA Muscle Walk will be held at the Mohegan Sun Casino from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We at Harte Nissan, as well as the rest of Harte Auto Group, would like to encourage everyone to participate in any way they can. Interested in being a walker? Click here to register. If you’re not into walking you can still participate by attending the event or donating to someone else who is walking. All money raised through this event will go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to research and develop a cure for muscular dystrophy.
In support of those with muscular dystrophy or other special mobility requirements, Harte Auto Group’s used car dealership, Harte Family Motors, recently released the MV-1 wheelchair accessible van. This van goes above and beyond the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act and can be customized for each individual customer.
